Web Manager
Web Manager needed to oversee our websites, ensure performance, security, and accessible UX; lead content, SEO, analytics, and cross-team collaboration to drive results.
The Web Manager oversees the organization’s websites and digital platforms, ensuring optimal performance, functionality, security, and user experience. The role manages website content, coordinates web development initiatives, monitors website analytics, and implements strategies to enhance online visibility, engagement, and conversions—while ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance of the company website and related digital platforms.
Ensure website content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with brand guidelines and business requirements.
Coordinate website development projects, enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with internal teams and external vendors.
Monitor website functionality, performance, and security, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt issue resolution.
Oversee content management systems (CMS) and ensure efficient content publishing processes.
Implement and maintain SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable recommendations for improvement.
Optimize website user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Manage website accessibility, responsiveness, and compatibility across devices and browsers.
Collaborate with marketing, design, IT, and content teams to support digital campaigns and business initiatives.
Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and website governance requirements.
Manage relationships with web developers, hosting providers, and external agencies.
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement of web technologies and digital experiences.
Maintain website documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in website management, digital platforms, or web development.
Strong knowledge of website architecture, content management systems (CMS), and web technologies.
Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or similar systems.
Understanding of SEO principles, website optimization, and digital analytics.
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and website performance monitoring tools.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development concepts.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple web initiatives simultaneously.
Experience working with web developers, designers, hosting providers, and third-party vendors.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Knowledge of website security, data privacy regulations, and best practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
